Leonard Albert "Lenny" Kravitz, nacido en Nueva York (Estados Unidos) el 26 de mayo de 1964, es un popular cantante, compositor, multi-instrumentista y productor, cuyo estilo es "retro" al cual incorpora elementos del rock, soul, funk, reggae, hard rock, psychedelic, folk y balada. A menudo toca la guitarra, el bajo, tambores, teclados y percusiónes el mismo cuando se encuentrra en grabación. Lenny ganó el premio Grammy de "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance", cuatro años seguidos, de 1998 a 2002. Y está situado en la 93ª posición en los "100 más grandes artistas del Hard Rock" de VH1.
